About Azam

Azam Kashefikia was born in a small town in Kurdistan, Iran. From an early age, she was nicknamed "the little painter" and always dreamed of becoming an artist. This childhood dream has remained with her throughout her life, evolving alongside diverse experiences in painting, drawing, graphic design, puppet making, music, cinema, and theater.

Teaching painting and drawing brings her an unparalleled sense of energy, more than any other artistic activity. Alongside painting, she worked in jewelry design for about 15 years and explored sculpture. Currently, her focus is fully on painting, with the hope of further advancing her skills in sculpture.

In addition to painting, Azam is involved in various projects, including a short film that is still in progress—one of many unfinished projects that play an essential role in shaping her artistic journey.

In October 2023, she migrated to Canada, where she continues to pursue her dreams with the same passion and dedication. Her journey remains ongoing, enriched each day by new experiences, ideas, and moments that bring fresh meaning to her artistic path.
